Αναλαμβάνει το Duke Nukem Forever η Gearbox;

Ας μην κοροϊδευόμαστε. Σε αυτό το στάδιο, όλοι όσοι περιμένουν ακόμα κυκλοφορία του Duke Nukem Forever, πολύ πιθανόν να είναι πιο λίγοι και από την συντακτική ομάδα του byteme. Έλα που όμως ο Δούκας όπως όλα δείχνουν δεν είπε ακόμα την τελευταία του κουβέντα... πάλι!

Αυτό ισχυρίζονται ανώνυμες πηγές που μίλησαν στο Kotaku, οι οποίες υποστηρίζουν πως το Duke Nukem Forever ζει και βασιλεύει, με την γνωστή από το εξαιρετικό Borderlands, Gearbox να έχει αναλάβει τα ηνία της ανάπτυξης του. Μάλιστα μία από αυτές τις πηγές φαίνεται να υποστηρίζει πως μέχρι το τέλος του χρόνου ίσως και να δούμε κάποιο playable demo του παιχνιδιού, μιας και η Gearbox δεν ξεκίνησε την ανάπτυξή του από την αρχή (αυτό μας έλειπε!), αλλά συνεχίζει το έργο που άφησε στην μέση η 3D Realms. Αν αυτό όντως ισχύει, ίσως δούμε και κυκλοφορία ενός άλλου τίτλου με πρωταγωνιστή τον Δούκα, το Duke Nukem Begins το οποίο ανέπτυσσε η Gearbox πριν ξεσπάσει η δικαστική διαμάχη μεταξύ Take Two και 3D Realms, αναγκάζοντάς το να μπει στο ψυγείο. Τώρα όσον αφορά τυχόν επιβεβαίωση των πιο πάνω από επίσημα χείλη, μάλλον θα απογοητευτείτε μιας και μέχρι στιγμής κανένας εκπρόσωπος της Gearbox, της Take Two ή ακόμα και της 3D Realms δεν προέβη σε δηλώσεις για το όλο θέμα. Μόνη «παραφωνία» σε αυτούς, ο πρόεδρος της Gearbox, Randy Pitchford ο οποίος άφησε σαφές υπονοούμενο πως ίσως ακούσουμε περισσότερα στην επερχόμενη PAX τον Σεπτέμβριο.

Μέχρι τότε αγοράστε μερικά πακετάκια τσίχλες.
