Νεοϋορκέζος ισχυρίζεται ότι του ανήκει το 84% του Facebook!

Ο Paul D. Ceglia είναι ένας web designer από τη Νέα Υόρκη και παράλληλα ο πρωταγωνιστής σε μια πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα δικαστική διαμάχη. Στις 30 Ιουνίου, ο Ceglia επισκέφθηκε τις αρμόδιες δικαστικές αρχές της Νέας Υόρκης και κατέθεσε μήνυση κατά του Mark Zuckerberg. Ούτε λίγο, ούτε πολύ, ο Ceglia ισχυρίζεται ότι είναι ο νόμιμος ιδιοκτήτης του Facebook και ζητά να του παραδοθούν οι μετοχές της εταιρείας!

Ο Ceglia λέει ότι το 2003 υπέγραψε σύμβαση με τον Zuckerberg προκειμένου να σχεδιάσει την ιστοσελίδα του Facebook. Όπως αναφέρει στη μήνυση, η αμοιβή του ήταν 1000 δολάρια και το 50% στην ιδιοκτησία του site, συν 1% για κάθε μέρα μέχρι την ολοκλήρωση της σελίδας. Έτσι, ο μηνυτής εμφανίζει εαυτόν ως τον νόμιμο κάτοχο του 84% της πασίγνωστης υπηρεσίας κοινωνικής δικτύωσης.

Όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο, οι υπεύθυνοι του Facebook αντέδρασαν με γέλια στους ισχυρισμούς του Ceglia. Συνήθως τέτοιες υποθέσεις δε φτάνουν καν στο ακροατήριο, καθώς τέτοιες διεκδικήσεις είναι συνήθεις σε επιτυχημένες επιχειρήσεις. Ωστόσο, υπάρχει μια εξέλιξη που προκαλεί ερωτήματα. Αμέσως μετά την κατάθεση της μήνυσης, ο αρμόδιος δικαστής έδωσε εντολή να απαγορευτούν οποιεσδήποτε μεταβιβάσεις περιουσιακών στοιχείων του Zuckerberg ή του Facebook. "Αυτό μπορεί να σημαίνει ότι υπάρχει θέμα", δήλωσε ο Dan Olds, αναλυτής του The Gabriel Consulting Group.
