Η Microsoft θα αποσύρει το Messenger της για... τα μάτια του Skype

Σύμφωνα με το site The Verge που επικαλείται διασταυρωμένες πληροφορίες, η Microsoft σκοπεύει να αποσύρει τον ιστορικό Windows Live Messenger εξαιτίας του Skype και τελευταία εργάζεται προς αυτό το σκοπό.


Το The Verge επικαλείται διάφορες πηγές εντός της Microsoft και αναφέρει πως είναι προγραμματισμένη η απόσυρση του Messenger της εταιρείας για τους επόμενους μήνες.

Η εταιρεία μάλιστα είναι έτοιμη να ανακοινώσει την απόσυρση σύντομα, πιθανότατα ακόμη και την τρέχουσα εβδομάδα, σύμφωνα με τις πηγές.

Στην απόφαση αυτή τής Microsoft, συνηγορούν και οι κινήσεις που γίνονται, για να μπορούν οι χρήστες του Messenger να χρησιμοποιούν το Skype με τα στοιχεία του λογαριασμού της υπηρεσίας τής Microsoft.

Η "σύγκλιση" αυτή των υπηρεσιών, φαίνεται και από το γεγονός πως οι χρήστες της έκδοσης 6.0 του Skype για Windows και Mac, μπορούν πλέον να συνδεθούν στην υπηρεσία με τα στοιχεία του Microsoft ή του Facebook λογαριασμού τους.

Μετά από αυτή την αλλαγή, το Skype θα είναι ο απόλυτος κυρίαρχος στις υπηρεσίες Instant Messaging και online επικοινωνίας γενικότερα.
